By Train - Shuttle Service

The journey to the Saanenland is an experience in itself — the GoldenPass Line is one of Switzerland's most scenic train journeys. From Lake Geneva, board the panoramic train in Montreux; from Zurich, Basel, or Bern, travel via Spiez and Zweisimmen. Find your best connection via the SBB website. Our complimentary shuttle service picks you up from Saanen or Schönried train station — or from Gstaad upon request. To arrange your transfer, please confirm your arrival time / location in advance via phone or email. The PostAuto bus stop "Saanen, Steigenberger" is right in front of the hotel (Line 183). With the Gstaad Card, all hotel guests receive free public transport throughout the region - from Zweisimmen to Rougemont (more details via Gstaad Tourism).

HUUS Gstaad Hotel is easily reached on well-maintained and beautiful mountain roads all year round — approximately 2 hours from Geneva, 2.5 hours from Zurich and Basel, and 1.5 hours from Bern. In winter, roads to Gstaad are cleared regularly; however, winter tires are required and 4-wheel drive is advised.

Geneva airport is about a 2 hour drive — Zürich and Basel about 2.5 hours by car. From Geneva, the GoldenPass train connection via Montreux takes around 3 hours; from Zurich or Basel, around 3.5 hours via Bern, Spiez, and Zweisimmen. For private aviation, Gstaad-Saanenland Airport (LSGK) is just 5 minutes from the hotel — visible right from our panoramic terrace.
