HUUS Gstaad offers a large selection of winter activities for you and your family.

With certain activities included in your room rate you will make the best out of winter.

We have a Ski Center to rent world-class ski equipment. You can also borrow a pair of hiking boots, ski equipment, Nordic walking poles or anything else you need to kick-start your adventure – we’ve got it covered.

Ski School

Beginner, intermediate and advanced group and private ski courses.

Children’s Ski School

For children under ten, free ski passes, free equipment rentals and free ski school. Two free activities daily. A comprehensive menu of Alpine activities with our adventure partner, Alpine Zentrum.

We offer group and private ski courses for older children of any level.

Ski Skinning; Off-Piste Skiing

Ski across vast, open countryside, trek uphill on skis and round it all off by taking on one of the Swiss Alps’ many breath-taking descents. Our guides will ensure you have a safe and an unforgettable ski touring experience that’s guaranteed to set your pulse racing.

Guided Powder Skiing

The Gstaad-Saanen region is one of the most diverse winter sports regions in all of Switzerland. You will be able to glide down the only glacier in the Bernese Oberland and enjoy over 2,000 km of trails between 1,000 and 3,000 meters in altitude. If you require lessons or equipment, we will make sure you have everything you need from our HUUS Ski Shop.

Snow Shoe Hiking

Journey across the Swiss Alps in snowshoes and become completely immersed in the nature around you. Our outdoor guides know the most beautiful places and the region’s best kept secrets where visitors can relax and reflect in peace, surrounded by nature.

Winter Hiking

Discover breath-taking winter hiking routes with a warm welcome and expert guides. Our enthusiastic team will help you plan and prepare everything you need, from boots to restaurants en route, before you set off to explore the wonder and beauty the snow-covered forests and mountains.

Cross Country Skiing

As one of the top cross-country ski areas in Switzerland, there’s so much choice. Our team can take you through the options; from night trails, troughs, and slaloms to pet trails. Guided by your tastes experience and time, we’ll make sure you get the most out of your adventure.
